I agree that, in person, the cloth is slightly lighter than it appeared in the photographs but still very much in the mid grey family. This was my first pair of Luxire trousers and I used measurements that I adapted slightly from a recently made pair of bespoke (and much more expensive) trousers. I am extremely happy with the fit and the attention to detail. So happy, in fact that I ordered an additional five pairs of trousers in a range of fabrics. My sizing is bigger than many sellers carry in OTR, so it is a true relief to be able to get such a perfect fit from such a range of fabrics at a reasonable cost.

The colour turned out to be a significantly lighter shade of grey than the photo would suggest. The color on VBCs site are more accurate:

At 11oz/340g this flannel is heavy enough to drape well and not wear out the first winter. I've never found them to warm to wear inside. I would actually prefer something even heavier for the coldest Swedish winter months, but this should work well also for spring and autumn. As expect from VBC this is a quality fabric. The flannel feels compact, not loose like many cheaper flannels. I had them lined front and back to 5" below knees and haven't noticed any bagging or pilling.

Bang on, both with the measurements and the size. Lining made them a bit heavier than expected but it was my choice.
